New Office Locations

Your operation is growing and you are branching out to new locations either inside or outside your country. Congratulations!

But, you still want to do invoicing and manage your operations from one central location instead of setting up a new independent company in GroupThinq. Well we’ve just added that ability.

We’ve recently overhauled the “Company Info” section in the Admin section to allow for multiple office locations. You can now add a second (or more) office locations with a different address, tax rate, contacts and currency for your invoices and purchase orders. Once you add a new company location, you can select which company location should show up on your invoices and purchase orders.

Add New Company Location

In the Admin>Company Info section, simply click the “Add New Company Location” button and fill out all the information about this new location. To quickly associate new invoices or purchase orders with this new location, create a division for the new location and select this division as the default for the new location.

For instance, if you have a Canadian and a US landscape architecture office, create 2 different office locations, and 2 different divisions (say, US – Landscape architecture and CAN-Landscape Architecture divisions). Then associate the division with the new office location by selecting the default division in the bottom right corner. Now, when you create a new project and assign a division to the project, any new invoices or purchase orders will default to that divisions new company information.

Or, you can select the right office location in the dropdown menu in the top right of each invoice or purchase order.

Here’s to growing your firm, we’re committed to growing right along beside you.
