New Gantt chart
At long last we have added a project Gantt chart to track the progress of your project. The Gantt chart is a graphical representation of project phases against time, helping your team monitor the progress of your project through time. The horizontal bars (also called Gantt bars) represent each phase of the project with start dates, end dates, phase dependancies and percent completion. These charts can be shared with your client or amongst your team to keep a project on schedule.

The Project Gantt is found in the Project>Project Data section under the Project Gantt tab. To start, click the “Add a Task” button to create a new phase for the project. By selecting that newly create phase, you can add an additional phases below, above or you can add child to create a sub-category within the phase. See the image below:

Select a start and finish date for your phase, and link the phases to create dependancies. You can also drag the black triangle below to set the percent completion as shown below:

To delete a phase, click the white X mark in the bar chart as shown below:

Once complete, you can export the Gantt chart as a PDF to share with your team or client.
New Project Spreadsheet
We have also added a new tab beside the project Gantt for a project spreadsheet. Like most spreadsheets, you can use this to manage budgets, cost data, delivery dates or anything else you want stored in GroupThinq for your project. The Spreadsheet works much the same way as a desktop spreadsheet, except that it lives within your project. Your team will have full access to the Gantt and spreadsheet tabs.
